The Colorado Chapter of ASID strives to be the definitive resource for professional education and knowledge sharing, advocacy of interior designers’ right-to-practice, and expansion of interior design markets. Renewing Your Membership
The South Central Chapter of ASID (the American Society of Interior Designers), representing Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi, held its annual Design Summit in Little Rock, Arkansas April 11-13th. As part of the Summit, the Chapter hosts an annual ‘Excellence in Design’ Awards Gala, recognizing outstanding projects across all sectors of design throughout the region. After a shaky end to 2022, ASID expects the luxury home market to stabilize a bit this year. An emphasis on sustainability embedded into both the form and function of the home.

Of the national society’s 20,000 practicing interior designers, 6,500 practice primarily in the commercial field with 4,000 practicing primarily as residential designers.
Our first priority is right to practice – whether that be through interior design legislation or seal/stamp privileges at the municipal level. Our chapter covers a geographic area extending from San Luis Obispo in the north down to the Orange County line, and from the Pacific Ocean east to Palm Springs and the desert communities. With over 500 interior designers, 270 Industry Partners, and 200 student members, ASID Los Angeles is one of the largest ASID Chapters. We represent some of the most influential and trend-setting interior designers in the United States. As a chapter we strive to increase and enhance Interior Design practice skills through continuing professional education, and ensure designers’ right to practice through state and national advocacy. We also educate consumers on the value of hiring an Interior Design professional to protect their health, safety and welfare.

ASID California Orange County Chapter comes together to enrich professional relationships with all members while increasing membership and public awareness of the Interior Design field.
